Currently, Lester Neal is an eighteen year resident of Arizona by the way of Chicago, Illinois. During 1991-1993, Mr. Neal attended Arizona State University on a full basketball scholarship. Upon completion of his career at Arizona State University, Mr. Neal was the first recipient of the “Lester Neal Warrior Award.” This award was created in Mr. Neal’s honor by his coaches for someone who demonstrated leadership, discipline and a strong work ethic. Prior to enrolling at ASU, he attended Ventura Community College in Ventura, CA. In 2008, Mr. Neal was inducted in to Ventura College’s Sports Hall of Fame for his outstanding basketball accomplishments.
After leaving ASU, Mr. Neal played professional basketball throughout Europe, Asia and South America. His travels took him to countries such as Belgium, France, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey and Venezuela. Throughout his basketball career he was always looked at as a role model and repeatedly accepted the challenges that came along with being a role model. He was often asked to talk with troubled youth, volunteer his time to the community and go to the local hospitals to visit the sick.
Mr. Neal has been involved with the youth in some capacity for over 20 years. He took his personal experiences and developed Neutral Zones of America, Inc.; a non-profit youth service organization based in Arizona. Mr. Neal was also a four-year employee of the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, where he counseled, supervised and mentored some of the states most at-risk youth. Mr. Neal also works with the Native-American community as a Youth Development Specialist with Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

Apryl Garnett-Neal has been an Arizona resident off and on for the past 20 years. Mrs. Neal attended the University of Arizona during 1989–1993 on a full basketball scholarship. During her time at the university she was a member of the CATS Speakers Bureau which was an Outreach Program geared towards the Tucson Youth. After leaving the Tucson area, Mrs. Neal went on to work for the USA Gymnastics Foundation in Indianapolis, Indiana. First, starting out as the Public Relations Assistant and then later moving to the Men’s Program Assistant where she was in direct contact with Olympic athletes on a day to day basis. She also played a pivotal role in organizing a lot of the annual gymnastic events and judges’ training conferences. Currently, Mrs. Neal has been involved with the mortgage industry for over the past seven years. She has always a top producer by designing marketing campaigns that produced results.
In 2008, Mrs. Neal founded and established Posh Events, LLC which is an event planning, marketing and public relations company. Posh Events will be instrumental in the development of Neutral Zones of America’s image and branding.
