Health Watch
Focus: Health Watch and Weight Management

The United States is in the midst of a child obesity epidemic. Most alarming of all, America’s children are heavier than those of past generations; even heavier than their counterparts in other countries. Statistics are even higher for inner – city youths. Our year round Health Watch Program will focus on keeping our kids active as possible and educate them on healthy eating at a young age. In doing this, we plan to provide the assistance of a nutritionist that will hold fun workshops on proper eating and the positives and negatives of the different food groups.

The children will be able to participate in the different sports related activities that will be offered through the organization. NZA will be promoting vigorous athletic activities for the children. Activities such as track and field, team soccer, football, basketball, baseball, cheerleading and even dance classes will be available. All of which will keep children physically active at different times of the day.

In keeping in ca. 1980s-1990s --- Father and Son Running --- Image by line with our focus of Health Watch and Weight Management the organization will not condone the distribution of unhealthy foods or snacks. This means no fast food, soda, candy bars or any other unhealthy food or beverages will be serve on our site.

Neutral Zones of America is currently looking for certified youth trainers and nutrionists who are willing to volunteer 1 hour a week  to assist youth with lifestyle changes in their diet and fitness activities.
