NZA Juvenile Diversion & Prevention Program
Generated by IJG JPEG LibraryNeutral Zones of America will actively participate in the City of Phoenix Juvenile Diversion Programs.

The organization understands that these programs will be extremely important to the growth and development of the youth, community, schools and families.  The targeted area of communities that NZA will incorporate its services have a high crime rate, a high rate of teen pregnancy, a high rate of gang involvement and drug abuse amongst youth, along with a high rate of high school dropouts.  These problems create an unstable environment for youth to excel.

Neutral Zones of America will focus on diverting youth from these “traps” and offer programs that prevent youth participation in the negatives that are available in their community.  Below are a few programs that research has lead NZA to believe will be helpful to some of the youth:

First Offender Program
Youth First Offender
STRIVE - Truancy Reduction Program
Juvenile Curfew Diversion Program

Some of the Goals of these programs are:
  • To direct the juvenile offender toward more positive and responsible behavior,
  • To intercept the juvenile offender at an early stage to avoid the possibility of further progression to more serious offenses;
  • To avoid the negative connotations associated with referral to juvenile court;
  • To refer to professional counseling and other services to the youth when needed.
