We are currently taking applications for our Youth Advisory Board.
We are looking at youth who are passionate about their education, their school and their community.
To be a member of the Youth Advisory Board you will need a referral from your school’s counselor or teacher and permission from your parents or guardian. The referral must state that you are indeed a good student and is spoken very highly of.
- The Teen Advisory Board will develop our Students Making A Change (SMAC) Program.
- The members of the Teen Advisory Board will have the responsibility as our young leaders of the organization.
- They will hold titles such as President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
- All members will be asked to bring new ideas and suggestions to the monthly meetings and find effective ways to include those into the organization.
- Certain circumstances may occur where all board members will be requested to vote on decisions. The voting process will take place democratically. Majority wins.
